Privacy Policy

This policy explains what AI Sprite Sheet Generator ("we", "us") collects when you use aispritesheetgenerator.com, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. The site is run by an independent developer. Questions: support@aispritesheetgenerator.com.

AI models and services we use

To make your sprites, your input is sent to:

EvoLink, an AI model API provider, which runs OpenAI's GPT Image model (to draw your character from your description or redraw your uploaded image) and ByteDance's Seedance video model (to animate the character);
SeeAPI, which checks uploads and results for prohibited content.

These providers process your inputs only to provide their service to us. We don't use your images, descriptions or sprites to train AI models.

What we collect

When you create an account

You sign up with your email address and a password (or with Google, where offered). We store your name, email address and a securely hashed password (never the password itself), and send you a verification link.

Images and descriptions you provide

Uploaded character images are resized in your browser, then stored on our servers only so the AI and moderation providers can fetch them. They are deleted automatically within 24 hours.
Descriptions you type are stored with the character they produced, so your history is complete.
Uploads are checked for prohibited content before anything is generated; an upload that fails is deleted right away.

Characters and sprite sheets you make

We store each character picture and sprite sheet you generate so you can view and download them again in My sprites.
We keep a record of each generation: the action, credits used, status, the provider's cost and the time.
We keep a moderation record for each check (which stage, pass or blocked, the labels returned, and the time) for up to 1 year, to enforce our Acceptable Use Policy. It doesn't contain the image itself.

The free tools

The Sprite Sheet Maker, GIF to Sprite Sheet converter and Sprite Sheet Cutter run entirely in your browser. The files you open in them are never uploaded to us.

Payments

Payments are handled by Waffo.com Limited ("Waffo"), which sells credits and plans to you as merchant of record and handles tax. Waffo's privacy policy applies to the details you enter at checkout. We receive your order ID, what you bought and the payment status. We never receive or store your card details.

Technical data and analytics

Cloudflare Turnstile may check that a real person is using the generator and forms. It evaluates signals from your browser and device; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs (such as IP address, requested page and time) for security and troubleshooting.
For simple traffic statistics we record each page visit's referring site, country (from Cloudflare), page and time for up to 180 days, without storing your IP address.
PostHog helps us understand how the site is used (pages visited, referring site, device and browser type, and steps such as creating a character or downloading a sprite sheet). It is only turned on if you accept analytics cookies; see the Cookie Policy.

How we use it

To make your characters and sprite sheets and keep them available to you.
To check inputs and results for prohibited content and prevent abuse.
To sell and track credits and plans, and handle billing questions.
To answer your messages and meet legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal information. If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on contract (making what you ask for), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention), your consent (analytics cookies) and legal obligation as our legal bases.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. AI and moderation providers may keep their own temporary copies of inputs and results under their policies.

How long we keep it

Uploaded images: deleted within 24 hours.
Characters, sprite sheets and generation records: until you delete your account.
Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Server logs: kept briefly by our hosting provider.

Your choices and rights

Delete your account any time in Settings → Security. This deletes your account, credits, generation history, characters and sprite sheets.
Access, correct or export your data, or ask any privacy question, by emailing support@aispritesheetgenerator.com.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may have further rights, such as to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.
